Meat and Teat

Much like putting on an old pair of jeans and finding a twenty dollar bill in the pocket, I was just stumbling around the internet looking for art to post and found a new nickname for my boobs. That’s the same, right?

Not only do I love this painting, Escape, by Dallas artist/designer Nathan Trimm, but it’s given me my new favorite rack-vernacular: Meat Balloons. God Bless it.

I also feel the need to point out that I’m 99% sure that I had a Drawing class with Mister Trimm in college in 1998. And also, maybe we exchanged Christmas cards once. Which makes me realize that I must be the inspiration for the whole meat balloons thing. Dudes, my rack’s been epic since like ‘96.

I used to work at Jimmy Johns with a guy who had a tattoo with the exact concept.

I want him to be my wife. Also, I can’t believe you just admitted that you used to work at Jimmy John’s.

I am the proud owner of 4 of Mr Trimm’s paintings!~ He is hands down my favorite artist. Not just local. Period.

In fact, I own both “Purge” and “Mistakes Were Made” as featured on the artists site. I felt like that was important. So I came back to tell you.

Nathan, the girls and I are forever indebted to you. Because, obviously, “meat balloons” is a waaay better nickname than “the girls.” Also, my apologies that the post sounds a little stalky, but that’s just how I am. By the way, I’m typing this on the laptop in your bedroom while you’re at work.

Erindyan, you have excellent taste in both arts and blogs. Not crafts, though, because crafts are crap.
