The first tape I ever got was for my eleventh birthday. It was George Michael, “Faith” and I still have it. But now listening to tapes is uncool because everyone knows records are better. But making things look like tapes is cool. It’s also cool to threaten to make people a mixtape, although actually making one makes you look like a stalker. It’s a fine line, best not even try to walk it. It’s easier just to kill yourself.
